Namaste India! Namaste Poland!

Over 100 entrepreneurs from Szczecin and the West Pomeranian Voivodeship met on Tuesday in Stara Slaughterhouse at the invitation of Mariusz Łuszczewski, president of ZIIG, Shri Takhi, chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of India and Olgierd Geblewicz, Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The occasion for the meeting was a concert by Vidyi Shah, a great star of Indian ethnic music, and a discussion about the possibilities of economic cooperation.

- Until now, the Westpomeranian Region has been a bit of a blanket on the map of Indian investments in Poland - admits Shri Takhi. - After the meeting with you and seeing with what energy and dedication Mariusz Łuszczewski organizes the Chamber, I am convinced that very quickly this region will become the most important for Indian business. I also invite you to invest in India.

ZIIG is the third organization of economic cooperation between Polish and Indian companies, but the first one to operate in the province-state formula. The partner of West Pomeranian businessmen is the state of Maharashtra, the third largest in India, but at the same time the richest with the strongest economy.

- I am glad that so many entities are interested in economic cooperation with Indian companies - says Mariusz Łuszczewski. - The enormous support we receive from the Indian Embassy is also very important to me. This meeting, concert and presentation of the potential of the Indian economy prepared by Mr. Surendra, the first secretary of the embassy, responsible for economic issues, is only the beginning of activities for cooperation between entrepreneurs from our countries.
