In Warsaw, however, President Łuszczewski and producer Michał Kwieciński held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of India in Poland, Mr. Tsewang Namgya. The Polish-Bollywood project supported by two Ambassadors is a unique initiative which is a cultural bridge between Poland and India, a meeting and also bringing together two different worlds, two so different cultures. The production will be based on the love story of a Pole, Andrzej Łuszczewski and Anita Agnihotri, who comes from India. The film 'Taka Karma' will feature, among others, Maja Ostaszewska and Robert Więckiewicz.
The resulting film is a pioneering paving the way with information about Poland not only to Indian audiences. arousing curiosity about our country. It is also an opportunity to support Polish-Indian cooperation by promoting the culture of both countries.
Indian cinema is a phenomenal and fascinating phenomenon, and Bollywood one of the most powerful cinematography in the world. Behind global success and, above all, importance in Indian society lie the philosophical foundations of Indian civilization.
Moreover, the cinema, as a form of communication, has a significant impact on gaining sympathy and shaping the public opinion of other countries. It shapes international relations and the position of the state in the world. Its enormous popularity in terms of the viewers' lifestyle, i.e. the ability to reach a huge crowd of people with information about its offer, cannot be overestimated. The attractiveness of culture is the best way to win the sympathy of an international audience, and it is difficult to gain better access to people's hearts than through the magic of cinema.
